Sometimes in the wilderness of life, we need a helping hand

I am a qualified Naturopath and Integrative Nutrition Practitioner, registered with the Complementary Medicine Association (Australia) and certified with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (Australia). My particular areas of interest are fatigue, thyroid health, mental health, hormone balance, and digestive health. As a mother of two children, I am also particularly impressed with how natural medicine works so effectively within this age group, and continually seek out new evidence in this area to support families.

I use an investigative, science-based approach to seek out the root cause of ill health in clients and combine this with evidence-based and traditional natural treatments. Piecing together each client's personal story with the understanding offered through general and functional pathology testing helps me to create an individualised treatment plan. Treatment protocols might include education, diet and lifestyle advice, optimising nutrient levels, and herbal medicines.

I am a believer in integrative care, where needed - health care from a united team of professionals - including general practitioners, chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists and counsellors, to help my clients find their road back to optimal health. Clients and their team have peace of mind knowing that treatment protocols are always carefully scrutinised to ensure there are no medication or condition interactions or contraindications.

I know what it is to be depleted. As a type A personality, I had driven myself into the ground by the age of 28 from work, lifestyle, poor nutrition and an inability to recognise the need for balance in my life. I thought I knew what healthy was but my body was screaming "no". I know what it's like to be told you're healthy when you feel like you can hardly function. I know how low it feels to think there's no hope of feeling well again. I'm dedicated to understanding your story.
